1. Matt has big eyebrows, though not the biggest of shins.

2. Matt’s debut feature film, HANGDOG, co-created with his wife, was loosely inspired by his fear of accidentally killing their dog.

3. Matt’s three favorite singers are Billie Holiday, Paul Westerberg, and João Gilberto. And sometimes the mailman.

4. Matt thinks the world is pretty nutty and doesn’t think the workplace should mirror that.

5. Matt eats way too much ice cream. But doesn’t feel too bad about it.

6. Matt believes everyone would be better off creating. Write a poem, croon in the shower, build a wobbly chair, send a letter to a friend. Whatever you do, avoid riding those electric mono wheels.

7. Matt is a luddite. If he could edit on a Steenbeck, he would.
